• Thanks So Much Etsy & Etsy Community!

After some serious deliberation, I've decided to close my Etsy store. For utterly mundane reasons, like keeping tabs of inventory and sales tax, selling my work in multiple stores is proving to be overly complicated and time consuming. So I'm going to focus on my web store and make it the coolest, and dare I say, sexiest place to buy Kehoe art.

It was a super tough decision as I've been with Etsy for 9 years! That's amazing. They've been super wonderful over the years and never stopped improving their platform. Etsy brought me out of the hellhole of programming every bit of my shop in HTML... those were dark and painfully arduous days. So thank you so much Etsy, the Etsy Community, everyone that messaged me, followed my store, liked my items, purchased something from my store, and anything & everything in between! All is very much appreciated. Cheers.

This is the first print I sold on Etsy titled, "Conquering Giants." It was sold to Tara Klurman on August 11, 2008. Hope you're well Tara!

  • Andy Kehoe Art Update: Holiday Edition

Happy December everyone! I hope everyone is keeping warm where it's cold, and cool where it is warm, and comfortably moderate where its neither.

    Upcoming Arts & Crafts Fair

First thing to announce is that I will be sharing a table with my brother, Ben, at Handmade Arcade coming up this Saturday, December the 3rd. We've been doing this event for years, and it's grown into quite the craft fair extravaganza in Pittsburgh. I'll be there selling my wares at a discounted price, so drop by if you can. Art Shop Sale

I'm having a sale in my Art Shop starting today, December 1st, and ending at the end of next week on December 9th. The sale is 20% off the entire shop, including custom framing and original work. Use this discount code in the checkout: (Code also works in my Etsy Store)

Also, some dates to remember if you want orders to get to you in time for Christmas.

In the US: I’d say December 19th would be the very latest to make sure Fedex Ground reaches you in time, maybe even the 16th if you are on the West Coast. If it gets any closer, send a message with the order and we’ll work it out. Any custom frame orders should be ordered by the 12th to make sure they get done in time for shipping.
International: I would order by December 9th to give yourself at least a 2 week cushion for delivery. There are some shipping upgrades we can consider if you need it faster, but they come at a cost and are still not guaranteed to reach you in time.

    Art Basel Miami

Finally, I have a few pieces hanging in the Jonathan LeVine Gallery group show, A Conversation Between Friends, at the Juxtapoz Clubhouse in the Wynwood District. It's an outstanding lineup so drop by if you're in the area for the festivities.

Thanks Everyone and I wish you the very best Holidays!

  • Paintings for OZ & Print Release 11.04.16

Happy November Everyone! I hope you all had a wonderful Halloween yesterday. Mine was pretty great. It was a perfectly brisk Autumn night and the Pumpkin Ghoul only needed a small amount of blood to feast on this year, so we all celebrated... this year.

A little over a week ago, I had the privilege of showing original work for the first time in Australia at Outré Gallery in Melbourne. I've always wanted to show work in Australia so this is a bit of a dream come true. Of course, the next part of that dream involves me actually going to Australia, so hopefully this leads to another show in the future which I will do my best to attend.

I made 4 pieces for the show, and I'm super happy with how they all turned out. I just added them to my website so you can see them there. If you're in the Melbourne area, please drop in and check it out. It's definitely a different experience in person. The show will be up until November 9th.

I will be releasing 2 prints from this show on Friday November 4th at 4:00 Eastern Time through this very Shop.

    Here are the details:

    "Assignation of the Naturally Clandestine"
    20” x 20” (includes 1” White Border)
    Limited Edition of 120
    Signed and Numbered

     “Approaching the Sublime”
    18” x 22” (includes 1” White Border)
    Limited Edition of 120
    Signed and Numbered

  • New Shop/Stripe Problems

After receiving several emails from people that were having trouble with Stripe payments on my Web Store, I've decided to switch my shop over to Shopify. Squarespace requires that you go exclusively through Stripe as a payment option, so the only option for me was to leave. The issues with Stripe seemed to be mostly effecting international buyers, that's a major problemo since almost half of my orders come from outside of US... which is totally awesome. Thanks World!

The major detractor of switching to Shopify is that my shop exists outside of my website now which is kind of a bummer. Here's the new address for my shop.

Thanks everyone and let me know if you have any issues with the new shop.
